I scored a free springform pan (and loaf pan and pie server) today! As I've probably mentioned before, two of our visiting group members (both from Turkey) are leaving this week. One of them, Metin, had been living here for a year, so he'd accumulated a lot of stuff, and he didn't want to take it back with him, so he just brought it in for us to take. Thus the free cooking supplies. I'd say that was the highlight of my day. Oh, and there was a piece of chocolate cake leftover from Friday's group meeting, and I got to eat it. My officemates are generous :)
