I Could Make That!
So I have a monthly clothing budget of $20, and this month's purchase was an Old Navy V-neck lambswool sweater. In purple! Anyway, it's not as soft as they led me to believe in the product description, but for $20, it's great. But it's such a simple sweater that it makes me want to knit a sweater (it's a classic dilemma in my family--'I could make this, so why should I buy it?'). But I would want to make it out of nice yarn (like Classic Elite Lush), and that would cost way more than $20. Maybe if I save my clothing money for a few months. It would be a nice wintertime knitting project.
P.S. Knitpicks is selling one color of Lush, Grasshopper (an oatmeal-y kind of color) for half price! Too bad I don't want a sweater that color. It's such a great deal, but I shouldn't buy things unless I have a specific need for them. But the rest of you knitters should take advantage of this deal, if you're so inclined.
